Hello everyone, so I’ve got my first ever consultation booked at a tattoo parlour in Bath next week, and honestly I’m kinda unsure what I should be paying attention to when I actually get there. I know I need to check portfolios and make sure the place is clean, but past the obvious part, I really don’t know what separates a good

from a great one. Like, is it more about how the artist talks with you during the consultation, or is there a specific signal in the vibe and atmosphere, or maybe in the whole process that sort of quietly says you’ve found the right place to trust.

If anyone has done this before, I would really love some advice, because I don’t want to miss a small thing, and then later be stuck regretting it because I didn’t notice it properly, you know. Also, I’m not sure what counts as normal vs what’s maybe a bit red-flaggy.
