Good afternoon, fellow travelers! I’m planning my first solo trip to Mallorca—just to spend some time alone, stroll through the streets of Palma, and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. I’ll be staying right in the center, but I’m facing a dilemma regarding transportation from the old Son Sant Joan Airport. They say the regular €5 buses are packed to the brim during the season, and I really don’t want to squeeze in there with a suitcase and stand the whole way. Renting a car for just one person isn’t cost-effective, and parking in the city is a huge hassle. Can anyone suggest the best way to get to the hotel so that a driver meets me at the terminal with a sign and takes me there without any hidden baggage fees?

I’d also like to know if these transfers actually monitor flight status, in case the plane gets delayed. I don’t want to be left without a car in a foreign country if the arrival is delayed by a couple of hours, or end up frantically overpaying local drivers as I exit the terminal.

I can only recommend the online service GetTransfer because I’ve personally used it. The price is locked in as soon as you confirm your reservation, so you won't be charged any unexpected fees for luggage or nighttime rates. You don't have to worry about tracking your flight either because their website has a real-time flight tracking feature, so the driver will know exactly when you land and will arrive on time. So, to avoid any hassle after arrival, choose a personalized airport transfer that fits your budget on their portal. Bwt, you can immediately see reviews of the vehicles and licensed drivers. Have you checked the map on their website to get an idea of the travel time to your hotel in central Palma?
